Project Manager - Six Sigma Black Belt

* Your main goal as the Black Belt and Project Manager will be to deliver Lean Sigma projects spanning across several European countries (Germany, Switzerland, Austria).
* You will report into the Country Manager and be a major player in the drive for the Lean Six Sigma programme across Europe. This is a greenfield opportunity with full board support.
* You will be involved in identifying internal candidates for Green Belt/Black Belt training.
* A vital part of your role within the first 12 months will be to coach and mentor newly trained and hired Six Sigma colleagues and help them to develop professionally as well as to deliver high-impact projects.
* You will be the main interface between the shop floor and the European Deployment Leader and this will enable you to successfully drive the Lean Six Sigma methodology across the organisation, successfully.
* A key target is to identify and deliver Lean Sigma projects worth €500,000 annually.
This role is a highly visible, leadership position in the organization. Additional responsibilities listed:
* Responsibility for DMAIC initiatives controlling key processes that influence customer satisfaction (Growth) and/or productivity (Simplification).
* Identify significant improvement opportunities returning Gross Margin to the business in direct savings, incremental capacity or incremental revenue.
* Serves as a change agent, internal consultant, tool mentor, team leader on 1-2 projects at any one time and work closely with Finance and other senior leaders.
* Challenges conventional wisdom by demonstrating successful strategies in problem solving, serves as a third party.
* Coach Green Belts, regularly communicate project value and status to the Deployment Leader. Assists in the identification and prioritization of improvement projects.
* You must speak fluent German and English.
