Project Manager - Lean Strategy and Process Excellence

My client is one of the leading brands within the European consumer goods market. They are looking to develop their Lean Sigma programme across a European platform and have an opening for a Lean Sigma project manager who can add to the strategical aspect of the business.
The current programme was started in 2008 and is a unique initiative that is fully sponsored by the executive board and specifically, the COO. This Lean Sigma programme works in unison with the company’s innovative culture and drives a customer-orientated approach.
There is a huge opportunity to streamline all processes within the production unit as well as to improve efficiency, output and reduce waste and cycle time. Additional areas of focus will be:
* Analysis of production costs
* Purchasing costs (EU and Asia)
* Outsourced Manufacturing
Responsibilities will include:
* Sustainable implementation of the Lean Six Sigma business optimisation methodology into the organisation.
* Supervision of the toll gate reviews in order to guarantee an efficient project life-cycle.
* Compilation of training materials for Lean Sigma Green Belts.
* Drive Change & Continuous Improvement through big impact optimization projects (e.g. end-to end Lead Time Improvement, Lean Process Design, end-to-end Pull Systems)
* Accountability for the assessment and application of the correct Lean Sigma method und its concomitant tools.
