Lean Six Sigma Project Manager - Supply Chain

My client is the world's leading provider of cleaning, food safety and
health protection products and services for the hospitality, foodservice, healthcare and industrial markets. It is a global player with more than 26000 employees worldwide.

Based in North-East Belgium, after 5 weeks of Lean Six Sigma training, the candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting process improvement projects throughout not only the Belgian Supply Chain, but also the European supply Chain organization. Employing the Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology, the candidate will manage multiple projects with the ability to network resources needed to drive completion.

The candidate reports to his/ her respective organization management as well as the European Deployment Leader.

Experience Summary: * University degree in technical science or equivalent experience * Lean Six Sigma experience (Green Belt certification or more) * 3+ years of professional work experience preferably in a supply chain environment, with good track record * Fluent English * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade decision makers, team members, as well as external stakeholders * Strong analytical skills * Communication skills in terms of both written and verbal in order to train and coach * Experience in other functions (Sales, Marketing, R&D) would be a plus
Key Criteria: * Manage and support process improvement projects, deliver timely results, track improvement, ensure control and maintain accountability * Organize, plan, review and provide status of projects managed * Train, coach and develop the Green Belt resources around Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology * Facilitate the implementation and acceptance of change in the work place * Continually seek out process improvement opportunities * Leverage best practices across the organization in tools and processes * The job includes some travelling (10 – 20%)
