This position will enable you to play a critical role in the Lean Sigma initiative. You will be a mentor, trainer and teacher, assuring consistent application of the Lean Sigma methodology. Deployment leadership includes work with various management teams within the organisation to shape and implement roadmaps for local lean sigma deployment. These cover e.g. project selection and prioritization strategies, belt selection and belt development plans, project review infrastructure, rewards & recognition and communication.
It will be your task to assist business teams in defining and prioritizing process improvement opportunities. You will design appropriate deployment roadmaps that cover projects, staffing, coaching and project evaluation. After that you are the driving force behind follow-up and execution of agreed roadmaps, and the linking pin between project level and business team. Supporting business teams in selection and coaching of green belts will be another task: you represent and reinforce the Lean Sigma methodology, ensuring consistent application of tools and methods and co-coordinating the organization of Lean Sigma training. You will design certification programs for Green Belts and Black Belts, and coach and support Black Belts in project work and professional development.
Experience Summary: This position requires an education at MS / BS level in mathematics, statistics, engineering or business administration, completed with a (Master) Black Belt certificate. You have at least 2 years experience as a Master Black Belt or Leader of a key change initiative. You dispose of a strong strategic business perspective, are results oriented and capable of systems thinking and building relationships, networking and influencing. You are a coach, teacher and mentor who demonstrates change leadership based on project selection and project management skills. You are an outstanding communicator and experienced in presentations to Leadership Teams.
