You work closely with the European MBB & Lean Six Sigma Deployment Leader and help him to create the Lean blueprint:

* Fuse Lean and Six Sigma into a comprehensive programme to strive for high performance
* Create awareness and acceptance for Lean Six Sigma at all levels
* Create a culture of continuous improvement across all functions
* Co-ordinate the efforts of the company’s Lean Experts & Practitioners in deploying Lean Six Sigma at the local site

The applicant will be responsible to:

- Lead the Lean part of the Lean Six Sigma Deployment at the local site
- Perform a Lean Baseline Assessment including Value Stream Mapping (current and future state) for the major product lines
- Help Champions & Process Owners to identify potentials for improvement along the Value Stream, to define activities and to actively manage the improvement projects portfolio
- Define and lead Kaizen activities
- Train and mentor Lean Practitioners across the business
- Co-ordinate efforts of local Lean Practitioners and provide support
- Coach the Quality community in Lean thinking

Experience Summary: Mandatory: * Proven hands-on Lean deployment experience * Operational experience in production at a management level * High leadership presence * Good English language skills * Excellent German language skills * Effective communication at all levels, specially with shop floor workers * Lean Expert Training (min. 3 weeks by a multi national with a reasonable Lean program) * Team player – comfortable with matrix organization * Dynamic and passionate * Highly creative and process improvement focussed * Engineering degree Preferable: * Automotive/Aerospace/Defense business experience * Deep understanding of Lean enterprise * Cross functional exposure including sales, marketing, operations * MBA or other post-graduate business management qualification * Completed Six Sigma Belt training is a plus

Key Criteria: * hands on attitude in an operational environment * candidate must have a very structured approach in Lean production * cross functional continuous improvement expertise * leadership presence * reasonable Lean education & depth
