Continuous Improvement Manager - UK
by Matthew Moore on 5th December 2008
My client is the European market leader in its industry, producing products for various fast moving, high volume industries.
With four manufacturing sites in the UK, it is currently looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to develop and implement a UK Lean Six Sigma strategy in line with the company's Continuous Improvement approach.
You will set up an audit structure to assess site performance, manage and coach multi-disciplinary project teams, and actively promote Lean Six Sigma awareness across all Plants.
You will also teach and mentor Green and Black Belts in both Lean and Six Sigma tools, participate in UK management meetings, and actively promote best practice and knowledge sharing across the company.
As well as delivering tangible productivity improvements, you will ensure a consistent approach across the UK operations and be instrumental in the development of a sustainable culture of improvement, both within manufacturing and support functions.
Candidates must be already located and eligible to work in the UK in order to be considered.
