six sigma certification
by juanjuan0903 on 15th March 2009Hello everyone,
I am currently a graduate student in Industrial and System, focusing on Quality Engineering. I started to look for a job one month ago and unfortunately all these companies with opening in quality engineering need working experience. Since I am a fresh graduate student, which means no full time working experience, that's impossible for me to meet their requirement. I am thinking to get a six sigma certification to increase my credentials. After searching online I realized that without working experience you can not take six sigma training from a highly recognized training program(ASQ). But there is some online training program with no prerequisite of working experience. Is having a six sigma certification without a related working experience ridiculous?
I need a job so badly...... What should I do? Just stay here wait for a entry-level quality job?( it's almost impossible for them to hire a entry-level during recession)
Is anybody would like to give me some suggestion?
Thanks a lot!!!

Hello, Right now your first
Hello,
Right now your first priority is to find a job for your self, six sigma can help you in future professional growth but it will not help you in getting your first job, start at small level organization or join any group that offer training and internship program, it can help you in finding the suitable job , after that plan for six sigma training program.
