In order to maximise the value of the Six Sigma training and its relevance to your business initiatives, we offer coaching/consulting days provided during and after the training as required. Success of your initial projects is vital to ensure continued momentum, organizational support and enthusiasm.
Support to your Six Sigma Programme Manager
Catalyst has extensive experience of assisting a wide range of companies at different stages of their Six Sigma deployment. We would assign one of our directors to provide mentoring support and best practice advice. For example we can constructively challenge your thinking and enable you to learn from the mistakes and successes of others. We deliver this through an ongoing series of meetings and discussions on a one-to-one basis or other relevant meetings.
Additionally, we are currently running a 2 day “How to successfully implement Six Sigma” programme for the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM); this programme has been very well received by those companies attending. We can also deliver an in-house version of this programme tailored to specific requirements.
Consultancy/Project Surgeries
As your internal consultants start to run projects themselves, or support other parts of the business in running projects, you may want to use Catalyst consultants as ‘interim Master Black Belts’ to review and support projects or take on specific data analysis activities. Typically we might support initial projects with a series of one day ‘project surgeries’ and we could offer this support either visibly, or in the background, as appropriate.
Certification
Catalyst Consulting Limited can also supply an independent certification process. We are approved certifiers for the British Quality Foundation Certification programme, which offers Green, Black and Master Black Belt certification and having followed the Catalyst curriculum in the training would qualify you for reduced prices in this certification.
Training Licensing
At some point in the future you may wish to develop a Six Sigma training capability in-house using your own trainers. We will be happy to license the training material to you so that you can deliver training from your own resources. To support this Catalyst delivers ‘train-the-trainer’ workshops and certification of Black Belts as trainers should you choose to develop your own internal trainers to lead future training events
The Catalyst Way for Successful deployment
Many organisations introduce Lean Six Sigma in the hope of improving their customer service, increasing market share, and reducing costs. Lean Six Sigma can deliver these benefits when the right infrastructure is in place, though this is not always covered in the book! The Catalyst Way provides a vehicle to help you ‘Assess’, ‘Improve’, and ‘Maintain’ performance. The process begins with a Health Check and includes a three day Deployment Master Class, followed by an eight-step process is used to build on the diagnosis from the Health Check, and the Deployment Master Class activity.
