Users of Minitab Statistical Software earn top honors for Six Sigma projects.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC) recently announced the winners of the 2009 Process Excellence Awards, which recognize and promote Six Sigma and quality improvement projects that demonstrate true best practices and to expand and increase the application of Six Sigma globally.
Minitab Inc. congratulates this year’s winning companies, all of whom use Minitab Statistical Software, the company’s flagship product, to increase profits and raise the standard of goods and services they offer. This year’s Process Excellence Awards were presented during a ceremony at the IQPC Lean Six Sigma and Process Improvement Summit, held in Orlando, Fla.
Minitab sponsored the Best Process Improvement in Manufacturing Award, which IQPC judges awarded to the East Ohio Gas Company for the project “Process Optimization to Improve Product Robustness.”
