My client has decided to use World Class Manufacturing (WCM) to speed up improvement in its Business Centres in the areas of safety, customer service, environment, quality and production, in order to consolidate its leading position in
the market.
WCM is organized with 10 pillars and its deployment is based on the concept of central and local team.
You will act as a leader to drive WCM success through PM & EEMI or Quality pillar. You will supply the methodology and material to support the local pillars managers in proper and successful application.
You will ensure deployment is done according to plan (create and support schedules and clear deliverables).
In summary:
- Develop the WCM methodology including: standards & procedures, training
materials & documents, templates, best practices, all structured around Prof Yamashina’s method
- Develop and implement lessons learnt from pilot activities and best practice methods from other relevant sources.
- Contribute to the Central team efficiency and develop synergies within the team to produce documentation and to interact with the plants and possibly other companies.
- Educate, coach and train the local PM & EEM pillar managers and their local team.
- Validate and support the progress of the PM & EEM pillars deployment at the plant level.
- Facilitate the pillar teams at the group/division level to develop an intra-pillar network culture for PM & EEM.
- Coordinate best practice sharing, meetings, visits, etc that develop a common knowledge and know how.
- Drive the continuous improvement over the long term in the PM & EEM or Quality pillar.
