Tasks:
• Monitoring, facilitating and guiding continuous improvements projects.
• Guiding and mentoring the Green Belts and Black Belts
• Influencing the culture and behaviour at all levels within the organisation
• Determining the market position comparison to other sites on the basis of benchmarking and formulating proposals in relation to this
• Monitoring, initiating and overseeing the administration and implementation of data (key performance indicators) and documentation
• As Subject Matter Expert / Specialist / Source of Knowledge acting as a contact person and keeping up to date of relevant information as transferring and embedding

Career Progression
This is a high profile role within the organisation. Any candidate who performs well in this role will be highly visible to the CEO and will benefit from the internally high profile. The CEO spends at least 2 hours, four to five times a year with the corporate development operations team.
Additional Information:
• This role requires extensive travel which will account for 80% of your working time.
• This role does not come with a designated budget for the position.
• This role has no direct reports
• Set up a production academy in 2001 and has trained between 500 to 600 FTE’s.
• CDO will be focusing increasingly on process stability and product quality in the future.
