My client has been driving a quality initiative that aims to create a culture of continuous improvement focused on increased client diligence and efficient processes.
Their initiative uses structured analysis techniques and data-based approaches to deliver projects aimed at revenue improvement, process streamlining, and cost reduction.
There is a specific opening for a Senior Programme and Portfolio Manager within the Private Banking sector. Your main focus will be to translate the quality toolkit into the Private Banking infrastructure and identify/execute projects.
You will be responsible for proposal development and project execution for some end-to-end business review, process reengineering, and offshoring/outsourcing projects.
Establishing credibility with all levels of management is a key priority also.
12-18 month goals:
Ensuring that all parties are aware of the program scope, the benefits that it expects to deliver, the benefits it actually realizes and the program timelines.
Proactively overseeing the progress of the program against quality standards, targets and budgets and challenging actions, results and activities where necessary.
Resolving or (where appropriate) escalating issues and risks and ensuring that appropriate corrective action is taken.
Help promote efficient and effective communication with key stakeholders.
Taking responsibility for quality assurance within the program by overseeing methodologies, standards and procedures being implemented regionally.
Ensuring that regional legal, market practice or regulatory considerations are incorporated into the approach.
Developing and delivering business proposals for holistic review and process reengineering projects.
Executing and/or managing these end-to-end projects.
Working in close partnership with Business and IT partners to understand their requirements with respect to deployment.
You will be working in a small team and required to direct the activities of others. Proven experience of managing personnel is therefore desirable. Given the current environment, leading by example, and motivating/focusing team members is critical.
