The successful candidate will be responsible for all processes and machinery for the Technical Operations department. This includes capital projects, drivers for expenditure and service. The role includes:
• Strong stakeholder buy-in, mentoring and facilitation skills are paramount to ensure maximum adoption of the approach.
• Stakeholders need to be made aware of inefficiencies at an emotional level which will require sensitivity and the capability to think and represent alternative approaches.
• The ability to transfer knowledge is regarded as vital.
• The role requires a combination of delivery and simultaneous training.
• Work with both processes and techniques
• Implement improvements to the reliability of equipment
• Initiate, analyse and coordinate improvements
• Formulate, together with other Reliability Engineers, business cases and their Planning requirements
• Formulate, together with other Reliability Engineers, business cases with identifiable deliverables
• Lead projects and participate in project delivery
• Formulate change management proposals
• Make profit plans and follow up on them
• Take care of embedding technical expertise
• Transferring knowledge and embedding standards, procedures and guidelines.
Key Qualities/Deliverables
• To deliver enough financial hard savings to cover the salary being paid. The hard savings will come from running projects with identifiable returns between €10,000 to €1.5 million.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators for process and equipment reliability.
• Establish new product lines
• The delivery of results against expectations.
• The value added to executives in the selection and linkage of improvement initiatives.
