• Accountable for significant improvement through direct managerial (Group Leader and Process Engineering Manager) staff.
• Drive for continuous improvement in cost, quality, cycle time reduction, and operational processes within the factory
• Accountable for significant factory improvement by driving lean initiatives which include 6S, TPM, Visual Management, Kanban, Kaizen.
• Sponsors teams in the BIC (Business Improvement Competitions).
• Oversee through Process Engineering Manager, factory process quality and ensure measurement, analysis, and implementation of corrective actions to improve
• Review and validate staffing levels to support business needs.
• Develop, present, and manage annual and quarterly budgets for the manufacturing organization, in conjunction with the Factory Controller.
• Accountable for career development, succession planning, performance management, coaching and mentoring of staff which includes comprehensive training plans, developing succession plans, and empowering production teams.
• Work across the organization with NPI Director manager for new product introductions allocated to the site to ensure optimal ramp up of new products
• Benchmark industrial sites, internal and external.
• Formal presentations to management team related to product quality, cost, and schedule performance metrics.
