Lean Manufacturing Project Manager

You work closely with the European MBB & Lean Six Sigma Deployment Leader and help him to create the Lean blueprint:

* Fuse Lean and Six Sigma into a comprehensive programme to strive for high performance
* Create awareness and acceptance for Lean Six Sigma at all levels
* Create a culture of continuous improvement across all functions
* Co-ordinate the efforts of the company’s Lean Experts & Practitioners in deploying Lean at the local site

The applicant will be responsible to:

* Lead the Lean part of the Lean Six Sigma Deployment at the local site
* Perform a Lean Baseline Assessment including Value Stream Mapping (current and future state) for the major product lines
* Help Champions & Process Owners to identify potentials for improvement along the Value Stream, to define activities and to actively manage the improvement projects portfolio
* Define and lead Kaizen activities
* Train and mentor Lean Practitioners across the business
* Co-ordinate efforts of local Lean Practitioners and provide support
* Coach the Quality community in Lean thinking
