Our client is one of the world’s leading companies and is looking to hire a candidate with exceptional Lean experience in a transactional environment.
The programme itself is of a global nature and coordinated from the top levels of the organisation. There is absolutely no issue regarding buy-in or commitment.
The work will consist of running/executing/coordinating Lean projects, coaching and mentoring. Projects are of varying magnitudes, for instance, some teams you’ll be working with may number 5 or 6 members whilst others may include hundreds. You will therefore need to deliver holistic transformations.
You will be required to bring a fresh approach to processes which may have already been exposed to some re-engineering and improvement in the past and be expected to cast a fresh eye on them to simplify the layers and unwind some of the work that had been previously done with different CI tools.
A previous background in consultancy could hold you in good stead as this is essentially and internal consultancy role. You will understand how to structure a project with a view to then leaving it to its new owners. The structure will therefore be clear, simple and the new owners will understand the importance of sustaining the gains made and building on them.
You will be measured by the usual metrics which eventually distil into bottom and top line digits.
It is preferable to be based out of Southern India but the client has offices dotted around the country and you are free to choose from Mumbai, Delhi, Chenai and many other locations.
There will be a certain amount of travelling that will be determined by the size and scope of each individual project. Being based in Southern India would reduce the amount of time spent on the road.
An excellent opportunity to work with a blue chip company with a limitless potential career path either continuing in Business Transformation, Operations or with a chance to be inserted into a line role within a major account.
Please be aware that the client is looking for candidates with a very strong focus on Lean Transformation – not Six Sigma – and with a preference for past project delivery in a transactional environment.
