Investment Banking Jobs: Senior Operations Strategy Specialist
e for the identification and implementation of operating efficiencies across multiple business lines. Operations Strategy is involved in a diverse range of large and smaller scale projects including developing corporate utilities, workflow management practices, and procurement efficiencies. More broadly Operations Strategy is tasked with facilitating knowledge-sharing and best-in-class process efficiency practices across the company.
As the incumbent in this role you will use your in depth knowledge and experience of lean, six sigma, and other process tools gained from an asset management environment to partner with business line managers and design short, medium and long-term operational improvements that are aligned with the overall business transformation strategy. The focus of this strategy will be process improvements, identification and elimination of non-value added and/or duplicated activities, productivity improvements, cost structure reduction and accelerating off-shoring or near-shoring activities. You will manage all tasks needed for the successful completion of a project. This includes, project scoping, analysis, engaging key stakeholders and project implementation using many different tools including but not limited to Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma.
Beyond the project duties you will also directly manage teams while executing projects and may be the Senior Operations Strategy representative at a large site providing input to policy level direction regarding standards, budgets, and constraints. This position will require around 30% travel.
Ideal qualifications and experience:
• An engineering or technical degree

• Experience gained within a similar asset management or securities environment
• Strong project/programme management skills
Location: London
Salary: £90,000 – £130,000 plus benefits
