•Develop a unified, striving and pro-active human resources organization.
•Provide leadership, direction and priorities to the organization in order to
improve the human resources department effectiveness in achieving goals, as
regards recruitment, competence development, reward systems, HR-planning
process, HR administration and labor law issues.
•In cooperation with other functions set clear expectations and direction for
each human resources area.
•Secure that decisions and discussions in the human resources function
regarding policy issues are transferred to the factory management team
•Participate and contribute in the factory management team regarding all
aspects of the business and especially secure the human resources focus.
•In co-ordination with the Plant Manager initiate, participate and drive
negotiations with the unions regarding wages, working hours and
organizational issues
•Effectively communicate performance goals, objectives,
standards and expectations to ensure understanding and commitment to
them at all levels of the human resources organization.
•Evaluate individual performance against established goals and objectives.
Develop, guide and monitor corrective plans of action as appropriate.
•Support managers with coaching of individuals as well as teams.

•Establish effective lines of communication with other sites in order to transfer
learnings and manufacturing principles that improves the competitive
position.
•Lead and develop the working environment within own department and
secure that internal as well as legislative rules are followed
