• Plans and execute productivity savings and CI implementation across the businesses.
• Identifies improvement opportunities and needs; develops approaches, courses, and materials for use by multiple levels and groups within the function.
• Directs a team that conduct improvement events such Kaizen events, 5S, Materials Flow/Pull, Value Stream Mapping, and Problem Solving.
• Plans and leads complex improvement workshops and projects on manufacturing and office processes.
• Develops and deploys appropriate skills assessment and development and needs for businesses regarding CI.
• Maintains focus within the organization, not only in terms of the reasons for the CI/Lean initiatives existence and the targets to be achieved, but also in terms of the methodology agreed to deliver those outcomes.
• Will be responsible for assessing and summarizing cost and benefits of CI activities for project including senior management briefings on a regular basis.
• Will participate with other CI Groups across the organisation to share best practices, benefits, and help shape the Invensys CI approach and direction.
