Quarterly Community Network Meetings (CNMs) bring together i&i Members to meet, network and share knowledge. A strict code of conduct includes a no-selling policy and attendance by consultants is restricted to invitation only. Professionally facilitated discussions focus no practical knowledge exchange and post-meeting reports capture and disseminate the knowledge shared. CNMs are exclusive forums for high quality information exchange and collaboration.

Organised by a dedicated i&i events team, the meetings are supported by an extended network of professional industry and academic experts working within business improvement (including but not restricted to Six Sigma, Lean and Change Management) and Innovation.

High quality presentations and focused discussions address the approach to implementing improvement programmes, harnessing innovation, managing change, integrating methods into business, understanding their origin, adoption, future development and application to different working environments.

These meetings are designed for experienced senior professionals, including business unit leaders, deployment leaders, heads of Change, Innovation, Lean, Master Black Belts and experienced Black Belts. These meetings are not conferences. The format and agendas have been carefully designed to enable attendees to master new ideas, network, transfer knowledge and lessons learned into practical business improvement activities. i&i meetings are highly interactive and involve group discussions and workshops.

These sessions are professionally facilitated and designed by subject matter experts to inspire discussion, thought and improvement or innovative action. Attendee numbers are deliberately limited to ensure higher quality dialogue within smaller groups. Members actively participate in the sessions with a shared spirit of sharing experience and ideas, and case study presentations and discussion panels provide the ideal platform for members to present success and lessons learned.

The purpose of these meetings is to facilitate the transfer of knowledge amongst i&i Members and to stimulate debate around key subjects. The i&i team have engaged with knowledge management experts to design an approach to managing these meetings, which involves a combination of learning and networking tools, that guarantees value for members.

In advance of the meeting, carefully designed joining packs provide supporting reading materials and guidance in advance to the subjects being covered. Spaces at these meetings are restricted to a maximum of 60 (depending on the venue it may be less) and i&i members are given first refusal to attend. A limited number of spaces are available for prospect members of the i&i Community of Practice.
